 This size L mortar is made of oak from an old barn floor structure.
 Younger than the M size oak mortars, this oak remains hard and strong enough to pound any spice without worrying about strength or durability over time.
 The pestle is made of elm wood.
 One of my most precious wood species in the workshop because if you didn't already know, the elm is a species that disappeared from Europe a few years ago due to a disease. Rest assured, today many have been replanted. I myself planted 2 Luthian Elms on my personal land.
